What happend..

Hello there!

First of all: HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🙂 ❤

Wow it’s already 2016 and believe it or not this llittle blog is soon to be 1 yr old! Oh my gawd! 😀

Ok so I decided to inform you about what has been going on in my life since I posted the last time and to review my 2015. 🙂

So to start with I finished school! YEAH! That was a hell of a milestone I achieved the past year, right?! 🙂

Furthermore I did my driving license. Yep I am now allowed to drive a car 😀 That was another very cool thing that happened to me, which I am very proud of 🙂

When I found out that I was allowed to go to the university I wanted to (I had to pass several qualifying examinations and so on) I immediately had to look for a room to live in, as my uni is a 2 hours drive from my home town. So that was challenging, but in the end I managed it and got a very chap and good room in a communal residence. Once I moved there, I got hit by the cold and sad reality and had to move again. So within 3 months I moved 2 times, which was not at all fun. If you want to know the whole story let me know and I’ll write a seperate blogpost only about the horrendous conditions I had to live in for 3 months and this sad period of time 😦

Of course another major milestone this year was that I got accepted at the uni I wanted to attend! And guys better believe me when I tell you that this was one of the best and biggest things so far in my life! I cannot tell you how proud I am of myself that I got into this uni 😀 I really love it there! ❤

To go with that, I started to go to uni this year! Oh my god how big of a difference is school from uni?! I definitely did NOT think that it was so different from what I was used to in school, but yeah, now I really love it there and I really love the course of study. Additionally I am not only studying THE coolest subject but also I am taking a bilingual course, which means that the majority of my courses are in English and only a few are in German (given the fact that German is my mother tongue, I am thus studying in a foreign language!).

And finally there were the Christmas holidays and guys I needed this break so much you can’t even believe it. As I just began with my studies, I still haven’t figured out which studying method works best for me (especially at uni) and so I really had loads of stress and hard work to do, which exhausted me to my limit. Still, I got through it with actually not bad results and thus I decided to completely recharge my batteries and relax for the rest of the year (hahah 😀 so I am working again for 2 weeks already)

To sum up, the past couple of months were really busy and fully packed but looking back on that time, I love every single moment of it.

Once agian, I really need to thank you guys that you still sticked with me during this long break and I wish you all the best for this new year. Hopefully you’re all into it already, as I am 😀

Wondering if I still exist huh? 😀

There has been so much going on the past months and honestly I didn’t find the time to post or check up on my blog, but one of my new years resolutions is to be more active on this blog and interact more with you guys and start to post again!!

Hey guys!

I got nominated again for the “Liebster Award”! Thanks a lot to my overflowing thoughts for the nomination!

1) What do you think/How do you feel about rain?

I really hate rain when I’m about to leave the house, but if I stay in I really love it! Especially on those days where you’re lying cuddled up in your bed, reading or listening to music (fall/winter). AND I have a huge obsession with summer rains ❤ it is SOOOOO romantic when you’re outside and it’s dark and it starts to rain and a storm is coming up (oh how I love thunderstorms on summer nights ❤ ❤ ❤ )

2) What is the one thing that can always cheer you up?

MUSIC! FAMILY! DANCE! SLEEP! DREAMS! ❤

3) What kind of books do you like to read?

I don’t have that one genre of books of which I read all of the books. It varies from time to time 🙂

4) Do you like cereal? Which one is your favourite?

Yes, I guess so… 😀

If muesli counts as a cereal hahahaha

5) If you could have any super-power, what would it be?

I would love to fly…

6) If you had the option, would you want to change your name?

Nope! Not at all! 🙂 I love my name ❤

Puh… I’m not quite sure ’bout this.

“intimates as outwear” – a new trend?

Hey guys! Recently I have heard from the newest fad:

“underwear as outwear”

and so I thought I’d write about it 🙂

I got to know about this trend through a website called FRESHPAIR where you can order underwear as well as nightwear etc. and additionally I did a bit of research and I find this trend very interesting!

So this trend is all about displaying underwear in public, for example wearing nice underwear under transparent clothing. You can wear for example a nice bra under a T-Shirt with cutouts or something like that. Many celebrities also wear a beautiful lace night dress combined with for example a leather or a denim jacket and some nice shoes and the look is perfect! To further explain this trend I would like to show you some examples, how many celebrities wear their underwear as ourtwear:

This for example are Lea Michele, who is wearing a delicate bra under her dress which has a very low neckline, and Kim Kardashian, who really gets the trend 😉

As you can see on the first picture of KK, she is wearing a delicate bra under a very transparent blouse. In the following pictures you can see Ellie Goulding, Kat Graham, Julianne Hough and Kendra Wilkinson wearing the same technique:

   

You can also display your lingerie through wearing some transparent lace outfit such as Shenae Grimes, Jamie Chung, http://Taylor%20Swift and this woman are doing it:

   

What I also find very sexy and seductive is the look with a delicate corset, as Georgia Salpa, http://Charlize%20Theron, Pixie Lott and  Miley Cyrus are showing us:

    

However, Miley can not only be elegant but also very casual with this look. 😉 I really like the following look very much because this is another and especially a very casual way of wearing your intimates as outwear. As for me, Miley Cyrus, Cara Delevingne and Meagan Good are displaying their bras in a way which is also appropriate for everyday life:

I’m especially a huge fan of this last one, beacuse this is definitely the perfect bra for a backless top!

In my opinion Gwen Stefani is definitely rocking this style with her matching bra and handbag! Furthermore the colour also reoccurs in her shoes ❤ :

Also Beyoncé is a great example for the “intimates as outwear” trend – casually walking with a starbucks cup in her hand, displaying her bra:

To sum up I really have to stress that this look has to be worn self-confidently, because throughout my research I found some very bad examples… Real no-go’s…. An outfit where you display your lingerie really has to be put together in a classy way otherwise it looks just bad and cheap.

But in general I am a huge fan of this fashion trend and I don’t think that this look is daring or anything like that. In my opinion displaying bras, panties, delicate lingerie etc. is a beautiful style.

Moreover you can see this look on runways and on many red carpets!

Here are further looks which I like and wanted to share with you:

Kesha in a black lace jumpsuit or overall. I think she really combined the black leather jacket with the underwear very well and it looks perfectly matched!

A friend of mine showed me this video and suggested I make a blog post about it. Twenty seconds in and I had already made up my mind that I had to write about this.

This woman (whose blog you can visit here) posted photos of herself online when she was not wearing make up. The comments she recieved were awful, and phrases such as “revolting” and “ugly” and “gross” were thrown at her. Let’s just get this straight. You are entitled to have an opinion, but if you can’t express this opinion in a polite and respectable manner then please keep it to yourself. Especially about something as personal as someone’s appearance.
